| So, I am going to bring back the blog. I don't feel like setting up a new one, so I'm going to use my xanga, even though it is pretty embarrassing. swimminkim. It's not completely irrelevant. I do swim sometimes, when the need arises. I just wouldn't pick "swimmin" as a very definitive word for myself at this point in my life.
Anyway, this is what's going down this summer:
I work at this pool as an admissions/customer service chick and as a lifeguard sometimes. It's a decent job except that I have worked here for 6 years and that's kind of bullshit. Lifeguards have to go to these in-service things, which are basically practice sessions of CPR and rescues and stuff like that. At the last in-service, there was an incident in which I may have exposed my right boob to about 8 other lifeguards and my manager. The thing is, something about my stupid guard suit makes it so that if I swim with even the tiniest bit of intensity in it, my boobs inevitably are on the brink of creeping out the sides or top. So after the stupid activity we do, I adjust my suit to make sure no boob is floppin' around, and I climb out of the pool. I start walking towards the rest of the group on the other side of the pool, and about halfway there, I do another suit adjustment and realize that some sort of lump is unfamiliarly on the outside of my suit. Goddamnit. So I guess there is no speculation on whether or not my boob exposed--it definitely was. I just don't know if anyone saw, or what it may have looked like. It all happened so fast...
I am no longer in the denial phase. I have to come to terms with the possibility that several people saw it. But I want to know the details. Was nip showing? If so, how much? I feel like only a tiny bit of boob was hanging out, but I may be distorting it in my mind so that I don't feel so bad about it.
So, besides that, I have been hanging out with my cat, and eating all of the expired frozen foods I find in the basment freezer. It makes me feel like I'm doing some sort of good in the world to eat food that probably no other civilized human would eat.
I guess I'll update this again when something else happens to me.
